poetry site

when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
i had a dream and i awoke with it
beautiful, tragical faces
rose and amber was the sunset on the river
so fallen
gone before us
the fragrance came
star-dust and vaporous light
when the veil from the eyes is lifted
quietly, with reverance, in awe
up from the meadows rich with corn
lived by the river-side
