good bye poem

these be
they ask me where i've been
i gazed upon the glorious sky
i am old and blind
be in me as the eternal moods
one by one, like leaves from a tree
high-born race
there's one that i once loved so much
weak-winged is song
the darkness rolls upward
earth travails
