best love poem

one sweetly solemn thought
i saw the first pear
lived by the river-side
babylon-where i go dreaming
a few more windy days
there's one that i once loved so much
there was a strangeness on your lips
have we no shame?
i loathed you
if it
a thousand silent years ago
