grandmother poem

see, from this counterfeit of him
i have seen the proudest stars
no prey am i of poor thoughts
i am fevered
hang no wreath
i know not where
with the sunset
with her hair flaying wildly
among the smoke and fog of a december afternoon
you say you love me
