baby shower poem

so lost
you say you love me
leave the lovely words unsaid
the hypocritic days
in their ragged regimentals
full of tears
the lightning flashed, and lifted
a gleam of gold in gloom and gray
the earth keeps some vibration going
brother, i am fire
you are clear
softly now the light of day
