free poem

in halls of sleep you wandered by
glass-blower of time
at dawn, he said
sad are they who know not love
fat black bucks in a wine-barrel room
leave the lovely words unsaid
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
the sun is up
a bird sang
gone before us
