teen poems

he came and took me by the hand
what spiteful chance steals unawares
sing again the song you sung
a pen of steel
if i should die, think only this of me
sitting in his rocker waiting for your tea
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
some one complained to the master
i have known the silence of the stars and of the sea
awful truths these be
i've won the race
when the veil from the eyes is lifted
why then, must we see?
