short funny poem

come down at dawn from windless hills
often is it not so?
three days i heard them grieve when i lay dead
daughters of time
she was a beauty in the days
there was a strangeness on your lips
once this soft turf
high walls and huge
braided and woven
a poet, having taken the bridle off his tongue
