love poetry

my mother taught me that every night
let us plant
our pleasant moments fly
once this soft turf
lady, your heart has turned to dust
leave the lovely words unsaid
she was a beauty in the days
dark-eyed
give me hunger
the darkness
for i was a gaunt, grave councillor
