sad love poem

have we no shame?
the ancient songs
the mountains they are silent folk
now that i have cooled to you
who loves the rain
when, full of warm and eager love
stuff of the moon
in and of itself
tripping up, falling down
she was a beauty in the days
these be
old wine to drink
